CAUSE Hamper Campaign 2018

Our annual CAUSE Christmas Hamper Appeal was was launched during assemblies in November. The appeal raises awareness of ‘Catholics Against Unemployment and Social Evils’ and is now in its 31st year. Each Form Group of Trinity raised money through various innovative fundraising schemes to produce an array of wonderful hampers, with more being donated by college staff and the wider college community.   The whole school came together to celebrate their achievements in special assemblies on Monday, 17th December.  CAUSE is the main charity focus for the college for the Autumn term. Y10 London Theatre Trip – ‘A Christmas Carol’

Students in  year 10 were recently given the exciting opportunity to participate in a trip to the capital city where they were able to partake in a number of activities. The trip ran from Saturday 8th December to Sunday 9th December and included an opportunity to see a live stage performance of A Christmas Carol at The Old Vic, a text students are studying as part of their GCSE English Literature exam. Hot Chocolate Rewards

On Friday 7th December, 100 students were rewarded with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits for their fantastic effort over the last two weeks.

Pupils were nominated by their pastoral teams and many were selected for their “above and beyond” contribution to school. Well done to all involved!!! Continue reading

Y7 Christmas Card Design Competition

Well done to all of our Year 7 students who recently took part in the annual Christmas card design competition.  Congratulation to the lucky winners, Vance and Isabella, who together with the runners-up in the competition, received their shopping voucher prizes.
