The 2018 Trinity Charity Fun Run took place on Wednesday 18 July with approximately 1000 students taking part. The charities being supported this year are MIND and the John Paul Centre in Middlesbrough.
The Run had a most welcome addition this year of an optional “River Run” where students could cool down in this summer’s particularly high temperatures!
The event which was organised by the Student Council involved all year groups from Y7 to Y12 and also included a walking course. Members of the Pupil Council together with staff marshalled the course, providing a much needed supply of water for pupils on this warm July afternoon.
Students each paid an entry fee of £1 and were able to wear their own sportswear for the day. All monies raised from the event will be distributed to the two supported charities on our return to school in September.
