Wildlife Trust John Muir Award

During the Autumn term, a number of Trinity students have been taking part in the John Muir Award scheme, run by the Wildlife Trust.

The four week course gave students an opportunity to achieve the Award by Discovering a wild place, Exploring its wildness, Conserving it and Sharing their experiences.

The John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme and it supports people to connect with, enjoy and care for nature, landscape, and the natural environment – wild places.  The Award is achieved using a structured and adaptable scheme and its name comes from John Muir, the Scots-born conservation pioneer known as ‘the founding father of National Parks’.
